Direct Care & Administrative Support Volunteers

Direct Care Volunteers are available to make home visits to patients and provide an additional presence in their lives. Some of the responsibilities volunteers take on are: check-in phone calls, conversation, recording memories for family members, emotional support, enrichment activities, and light housework or errands (as appropriate).

Administrative Volunteers work in an office setting to assist Patriot staff with data entry, reception & phones, enhancing patient experience, bereavement activities, and much more!

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.

Special Events, Virtual Volunteers, & Ambassadors

Do you want to serve hospice patients but aren’t able to make regular visits at this time? That’s okay! We still have ways to volunteer that may work for you!

From special events like honoring our Veterans to Butterfly Memorial releases, we encourage volunteers to come and support attendees during these events.

We also have opportunities to use your skills from the comfort of your own home! Volunteer ‘virtually’ by quilting, card-making, collection drives (and much more!) all to benefit Patriot patients and families.

Ambassadors are representatives of Patriot in the community. Whether you’d like to help with community outreach, volunteer recruitment, or as a resource for families interested in hospice services, you’re in the right place!
